Hollywood Glamour at the 2021 Oscars

Hollywood Glamour at the 2021 Oscars

For the 93rd annual Academy Awards, everyone from Zendaya to Reese Witherspoon sparkled in diamonds. With a combination of in-person and video appearances, celebrities brought their A-game when it came to the gowns and jewels.

Here are my top picks for best jewelry from the Academy Awards.

Viola Davis

Viola Davis looked every inch the Hollywood queen, wearing Forevermark diamonds in her ears, around her wrists, and on her fingers. It complimented her white Alexander McQueen gown perfectly.

Reese Witherspoon

Reese Witherspoon is always on point when it comes to big Hollywood events like the Oscars. At last night’s awards, she stunned in a ruby Dior dress paired with a mix of Bvlgari High Jewelry with diamonds, rubies and onyx, and pearls.

“Congratulations to all of tonight’s #Oscars nominees! 💫🎥 I’m so honored to be a part of this evening, celebrating the magic of movies and their ability to make us feel more connected to the world around us. Swipe to see my hot date,” she posted on Instagram.

Carey Mulligan

Carey Mulligan looked utterly breathtaking at the 2021 Oscars. The Best Actress nominee evoked the look of the Oscar trophy in a gold Valentino Couture crop top and skirt, accessorized with Cartier High Jewelry earrings in platinum, tourmalines, 18k rose gold, colored sapphires, and diamonds. She added some extra sparkle to her outfit with a Cartier High Jewelry ring in 18k rose gold, diamonds, and colored sapphires.

Zendaya

One of my favorite looks of the evening? Zendaya’s cutout Valentino dress and matching yellow Bvlgari jewels.

Having no nominations this year, the actress and Bvlgari ambassador served as a presenter at last night’s awards show. But in my opinion, she won the best Oscars look award.

Wearing a stunning, transformable yellow necklace with two diamond collars and removable center brooch and tassel, Zendaya gave us a sneak peek at the brand’s latest collection, Magnifica–launching this summer.

Regina King

Always the red-carpet style icon, Regina King arrived at the Oscars in a stunning sky-blue Louis Vuitton gown encrusted with thousands of crystals.

According to the star’s stylists, King’s gown “took 140 hours to make and is embroidered with over 62,000 sequins and 4,000 crystals.”

In contrast with her dramatic, whimsical gown, King kept things minimal with her Forevermark Jewels, sticking to modest yet striking earrings, rings, and a bracelet.

Maria Bakalova

Another Oscars outfit drenched in Hollywood glamor, Maria Bakalova looked radiant and princess-like in a Louis Vuitton gown and Moussaieff Jewellers long earrings, diamond necklace, and sparkling rings.

She wrote in her Instagram post, “I still cannot believe this is happening to me. This has been a dream come true. Congratulations to all of my fellow nominees. I am truly so humbled and honored to be nominated alongside such talented artists.”
