2021 Golden Globes Jewelry Stand-Outs

“From small screens came huge jewels…”

No amount of distance can dim the astonishing array of dazzling gems displayed during last night’s Golden Globe awards. Stars, scattered all across the world, dressed up to celebrate Hollywood’s biggest event virtually, wearing everything from diamond-dusted chains to vintage art deco rings. Even from home, the Golden Globes oozed glamor.

I’ve selected eight of my favorite jewelry moments from the big event. What are some of yours?

  1. Elle Fanning

Elle Fanning opted for old Hollywood glamor in a custom satin Gucci gown, accessorized with Fred Leighton diamond tassel earrings and vintage Art Deco rings. The Best Actress in a Comedy Series nominee dazzled from head to toe.

The Ozark actress also took inspiration from old Hollywood, clad in Vedura cuff bracelets studded with black and white diamonds and giant Tahitian pearls.

Regina King reigned as the queen of Golden Globes jewelry, wearing a mix of Forevermark diamonds such as long drop diamond earrings in 18k white gold, diamond cluster earrings in 18k white gold, and 5-stone flower diamond rings.

  1. Anya Taylor-Joy

The Best Actress’s award-winning beauty shone like a star in Tiffany & Co. diamond jewelry, which perfectly completed her Dior emerald-green dress. She deserved an award for her classic jewelry-pairing.

  1. Viola Davis

She was nominated for her spectacular performance in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, and I’ve personally nominated her for her bold jewelry accessorizing skills. Davis looked every inch the Hollywood star she is with diamond-dusted gold rose chain hanging from her neck and earlobes. Her sparkling duo provided a stunning contrast to her theatrical fish-tailed Lavie by Claude Kameni gown.

  1. Emma Corrin

Crown star Emma Corrin proved she was every inch of British royalty, draped in Cartier emeralds, diamonds, and platinum. These elegant earrings looked fabulous with her monochrome Miu Miu dress.

  1. Jane Fonda

The legendary actress celebrated her eighth career win when she was honored with The Cecil B. DeMille award for her lasting impact on the film industry. As for her jewelry look, that certainly left a lasting impression on me.

Fonda paired diamond rubellite drop earrings with a rubellite cocktail ring from Pomellato, perfectly complementing her ivory silk suit.

  1. Salma Hayek

Salma Hayek stunned in Harry Winston’s diamond jewels. The actress wore Winston diamond chandelier earrings, the Ultimate Emerald Signature Timepiece, worn as a brooch, and a Secret Combination diamond bracelet. Meanwhile, her fingers sparkled with 32.25 worth of carats from a Winston Candy Rubellite and Diamond Ring.
