Stars Kept Things Simple Yet Stunning at the Country Music Awards 2021

On Sunday, April 18, the 56th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards took place at three different venues in Nashville, Tennessee: The Ryman Auditorium, The Grand Old Opry House, and the Bluebird Café.

Besides the phenomenal performances, there were several outstanding celebrity looks that really stuck out to me.

From Tenille Art’s custom Dolce & Gabbana gown paired with David Yurman Jewels to Miranda Lambert and Elle King’s sparkly jumpsuits accessorized with statement earrings, it sure was a glam night at last night’s ACM Awards.

Here are my top five favorite looks!

Kelsea Ballerini

Wearing a sleeveless floor-length emerald gown with a high slit on one side, Kelsea Ballerini stole the show with her “woman in green” look.

Besides pairing her dress with emerald strappy heels and even an emerald face mask, she also decorated her wrists with statement bracelets, keeping things subtle as far as jewelry goes.

Tenille Arts

It may have been her first time attending the ACM Awards, but she owned every second of it decked out in her custom-made off-the-shoulder beige Dolce & Gabbana gown.

As edgy as her dress was, she stayed classic with a sprinkling of David Yurman jewelry. Earrings and a couple of rings were enough to pull this look together and make her sparkle from head to toe.

Maren Morris

Maren Morris looked beautiful in a draped champagne halter gown. The star proved that when shimmer and sparkle come into play, 2-3 statement rings are enough to make the look pop.

“That was probably the earliest I’ve ever just put a dress on and been like, ‘This fits me like a glove.’ Save this for the ACMs in a few months because I know I’m going to be obsessed with it then,’” Morris told PEOPLE ahead of the show.

Carrie Underwood

As always, Carrie Underwood sparkled at the 2021 County Awards last night. Clad in a glamorous tulle ballgown with silver embroidery, the singer paired her frock with high-shine dangling earrings.

I love the glamor, elegance, and simplicity of this look. The sparkling drop earrings pull everything together.

Miranda Lambert and Elle King

These two country queens dazzled in coordinating outfits at the ACM Awards on Sunday. Wearing sparkly black jumpsuits teamed with leather fringe jackets, the duo styled their outfit with black shoes. And boy, did they look cool! Lambert accessorized with oversized pink heart-shaped earrings, while King kept things minimal with a few rings.

Besides her twinning rock chic look, Miranda Lambert made two other memorable outfit changes – one of them: denim-on-denim paired with statement earrings, necklace, and rings.

Then she stepped in to sing “Maggie’s Song” with Chris Stapleton wearing a black fringe jacket and light-wash jeans and boots, sparkled up with a pair of white gold hoops and elegant rings.
