London Jewelers Celebrates Italy

London Jewelers, the family-owned purveyors of fine jewelry, joined forces with the Italian Trade Association earlier this month for an all-out festival featuring Italian jewelry designers, fine wine, and Italian food. Highlights from the collection included jewelry from Buccellati, Bvlgari, Pomellato and Vhernier, as well as London Jewelers’ own collection of Italian gold statement pieces.

London Jewelers’ President, Candy Udell, is a longtime supporter of Italian jewelry, and believes the pairing of the Trade Association and her brand are a perfect fit. “It’s a beautiful country full of history, and Italian jewelry-makers transfer that through their creations,” she says. “It’s the pride, commitment, passion for perfection, and the generations of craftsmanship that get passed down.”

In fact, Udell herself recently returned from her own trip to the beloved country that she holds dear. “We’ve made countless memories there,” she says. “Everything tastes better and shines brighter: the wine, the sun setting over the countryside, the piazzas where everyone gathers to socialize. The people are so warm and friendly. One of the best parts of going back is seeing the many friends we’ve made over the years.”

Udell points out a few key pieces from the London Jewelers collection of Italian designs. Most of the pieces are gold standouts, including an 18k yellow gold emerald cut and pave diamond ring, the 18k yellow and white gold diamond crossover cuff bracelet and 18k yellow-gold earrings with diamonds. The partnership between the Jewelry brand and the Italian Trade Association hopes to foster and promote public awareness for Italy and the country’s extraordinary craftsmanship for fine jewelry.

All of the jewelry on display includes “Made in Italy” inscriptions. One has never looked so chic while mangia-ing on pasta and gelato, sipping some fine Italian wines and trying on some beautiful, Italian-designed jewels.
