In My Heart: Heart Charms, Rings, and More Are Trending

Maybe it’s a remedy for the times, or maybe it’s been around for a while, but overall, I’m loving the reinvigorated heart-jewelry trend right now. Whether in the form of a sweet pendant, a show-stopping cocktail ring, or earrings, the timeless symbol reflects love, compassion, and much-needed hope. Here are some finds that offer unique design elements for a new twist on an old-time favorite.

Charm necklaces have become almost cultish within the fashion world lately, and this design from Foundrae fits right in, making me want to jump on board. The NYC-based design studio/library calls it the Heart Love Token, and for good reason: Paying tribute to mythical romance, the fluted piece features a single gold star and can be personalized with two pave diamond letters for a beautiful endearment.

For the minimalist, these 18k yellow gold open-heart hoops handcrafted by Mars + Love are quite fitting. Adorned with a single diamond on each side for just a kiss of sparkle, the delicate finds can easily be worn every day with an assemblage of other studs for a coveted contrast.

If you’re in pursuit of a handful of intrigue and color, then this one-of-a-kind Petite Lollipop Ring from Retrouvaí is a great addition. Showcasing a heart Tanzanite stone, the design pops with hand-carved turquoise for a touch of relaxed glamour.

In honor of women who exhibit exceptional generosity, Chopard has created the new Happy Heart collection. The open bangle has become a favorite for its modern appeal, restrained luxury, and contrasting stones. A stacking star, this particular option is done in18k rose gold, and shows a diamond inside a heart frame on one side and a green agate heart on the other.

Who can forget the knockout cocktail ring? This lavish, heart-shaped, 18k white-gold ring crafted with an explosion of diamonds from Suzanne Kalan is like nothing I’ve set eyes on before. (But, believe me, I would gladly take another look at…or a million). With a total of one carat of baguette cuts and a round-cut, this goddess of a ring should be worn on its own.

And now for a classic turn. This bolo bracelet from The Kindred Heart from Vera Wang Love Collection at Zales works as a gift for any occasion. Designed in sterling silver, the diamond and sapphire piece uses a wheat chain to set itself apart for a distinctive but eternally charming look.

If pendants are more your style, then an equally gorgeous choice is The Kindred Heart from Vera Wang Love Collection, 1/2 CT. T.W. Diamond Tilted Pendant in 10K White Gold.

Remember that all of your jewelry should be certified by a reputable gemological lab, such as Gemological Science International (GSI). For reference, here is what a GSI certificate looks like.

The best part? The heart accessories trend is surprisingly easy to wear, and you can pair it with everything from your go-to jeans to your cocktail hour look.
