Favorite Things: Adrianna Papell
Steeped in classic elegance, designer Adrianna Papell started out in the 1970s, designing day and evening dresses for women of all ages and silhouettes, including bridal looks, accessories, and footwear in the hopes of helping all women find the most beautiful version of themselves.
The brand is known for choosing patterns and fabrics that hug all of the curves that women want to reveal—and hiding the ones they don’t. The collections are infused with an elegance and flair that empowers women of all ages and silhouettes to feel and look their best. Each piece is designed for the way women live today—transitioning seamlessly from one event to the next.
Today, the New York-based brand is a global business, available in over 20 countries, and with a presence in almost 2,000 department and specialty stores, in addition to international free standing stores. Adrianna Papell is a lifestyle brand whose entire focus is on a woman’s individual beauty being revealed. Thus, the designs are intended to flatter, and not minimize, curves.
In 2015, Adrianna Papell made a foray into fine jewelry, launching a diamond wedding ring collection that paralleled its signature timeless sophistication and affordable luxury. This was the extension the brand needed and deserved to truly solidify its mission of empowering women and allowing them to express their true selves.
Continuously in awe of the brand’s meticulous craftsmanship and impressive assortment of stunning forever creations, GSI grading reports, a.k.a. “GSI certificates” accompany many Adrianna Papell jewelry pieces.
Here’s a look at some of my favorite jewelry designs, each with a different aesthetic.
For a little bit of whimsy…
Designed in precious 14K rose gold, this ring spotlights a 0.58ct round-cut diamond complemented with ribbons of diamonds, and other alternating cuts, for a powerful dose of feminine charm.
Channeling ethereal floral flair, the creation is truly enchanting.
A straightforward stunner…
A duet of 14k golds creates the perfect foundation for this ring, which is punctuated by a 1/2ct round diamond flanked with accompanying diamonds. The artful presentation of rose gold gives it a hint of unique of panache, so it stands out from other simple-but-elegant engagement rings.
For the aspiring princess…
Crafted in 14K white and rose gold, this 1ct extravagant ring boasts a supporting cast of round diamonds in the band and baguette diamonds running down the middle. But then the star comes in: a princess-cut diamond framed with two square diamond halos. The slight addition of a contrasting gold is genius, as it again helps the design remain distinctive.
A Band of Unique Beauty…
Using an intricate milgrain detail along its 14K rose gold band, this stunner reveals round diamonds on the band to keep things classic. But its true beauty lies in the fact that it can mixed and matched with any type of gold or engagement ring, depending on the desired look. But, no matter what, it’s a head-turner.
This 1ct. engagement find looks to a stacked white-gold band with round diamonds to sparkle even brighter. A graceful milgrain finish complements it all but certainly keeps the focus on the center round-cut diamond. This just epitomizes elegance.
The Adrianna Papell’s brand philosophy is that there is nothing more alluring than a woman who feels beautiful, is the foundation for their mission statement “Beauty Revealed – making every moment, and every woman, feel special.”
